Cinque Terre, Italy

Over our Easter holiday, my friend Becca and I visited Cinque Terre, Italy.  It was absolutely magical!  These five villages are nestled on the Italian coast and provide spectacular views, amazing food, and such wonderful people!

Riomaggiore, where we stayed for our visit

I really enjoy watching people and catching interesting "real" moments while traveling...

The local "hang out" - all day different people from the village would sit and chat.  It was so fun to watch!

Fresh pizza!

Amazing produce

Vernazza

Steep terrace farming that plunges straight into the ocean

Fresh lemons - so tasty

Prosciutto and Melone - my favorite appetizer/snack/meal

There was a Good Friday processional through Riomaggiore that we watched.  It was a very somber and interesting experience.  The pictures and video capture it better than I can explain.

Love locks on the Via del Amore

A cafe window we passed, and I just couldn't pass up a picture of this amazing food
