Kutna Hora

So both last year and this fall, our company held a two-day training in Kutna Hora (a small former mining town about an hour east of Prague).  While I took these pictures last year, I realized I never really posted them.  So, since I was just there, here's a look at lovely Kutna Hora, Czech Republic including a visit to the "Bone Church."

During the plague, over 40,000 people were buried in the site of this cathedral.  In 1511, the bones were placed in these
sculptures by a half-blind monk to create an All Saints memorial.

Milano

From San Gimignano, we drove north to La Spezia (on the coast) and looked around a little before heading into Milano.  Heidi's friend Susanne (who she met in Belgium and now lives in Germany) met us there and was our guide to all the local spots in town.  We were very lucky to have someone with us who knew the unique and local spots to check out.
