Hawaii

We've hit a really cold spell this past week - this morning when I woke up it was 0 degrees Fahrenheit.  The highs have barely made it over 10 F.  So, I've been remembering my warm getaway to Hawaii for two weeks over our Christmas break.  It was a wonderful, relaxing getaway full of beach time, sunsets, hiking and good food.  Here are a few of my favorite pictures...

Heidi and family also came to Oahu to celebrate Christmas and I got to spend lots of time with them on the beach!

We also went to Hickam Air Force Base to see my friend Cate and and airplane.  The kids really enjoyed the tour!

  1. Your pictures are AMAZING! Hawaii is so fabulous! I didn't realize you went to Kauai! That is where Laura and I were about a week after you. It would ahve been hilarious if we bumped into one another. How far did you hike out on the Napali coast? Laura and I did the 2 miles out and we got so muddy!

  2. Thanks! Glad you enjoyed them! We also did the two-mile hike to the beach and got crazy muddy as well, but it was such fun! I totally want to go back and do the entire trail sometime!
